Hey Everyone! My name is Tingru Ying, I’m so happy to join the family of KidsTime. I originally came from China and moved to Canada about 5 years ago. I have eight years’ of teaching experience in Grade 6, and I really enjoyed the time with kids. When I’m free, I also love to travel in different countries, experience different cultures. I look forward to providing wonderful childhood memories for the children at KidsTime and building friendships with the members and educators!

Hi everyone! My name is Sophie, and this is my third year working at KidsTime! I graduated from Aden Bowman, and I am in my third year of university! I love sports, writing, and spending time with friends and family! I am really excited to join the team and create new relationships with the students, staff, and community!

Hello, my name is Cali. I have extensive experience supporting children in early learning and recreational settings. I have worked as an Early Childhood Educational Assistant, an Educational Assistant, and a gymnastics coach, and in recent years I have specialized in play therapy with a child-led approach for neurodiverse children. Originally from Prince Edward Island, I recently relocated to Saskatoon from Chilliwack, BC. I am dedicated to fostering safe, supportive, and engaging environments where every child can grow, learn, and thrive. In my personal time, I enjoy crafting and reading.

Hi! My name is Ava Nochowny, I just graduated from Evan Hardy Collegiate. I’m very excited to be working with KidsTime. I have been here since last winter! I have grown and built healthy relationships with the kids and my coworkers. I plan to keep building those relationships this year and onwards! Some facts about me: I was born in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan. I have a younger brother, so I have always had a little buddy beside me throughout my childhood. I love being outdoors and being with family and friends. I spend my time outside of work going to the gym, spending time with my puppy, and taking my brother to hockey. I’m so excited for this year, spending time with the kids and being a part of the KidsTime community.

Hello! My name is Larissa and I have been working at KidsTime for a few years now! I have previously coached minor female hockey and softball and continue to play both sports myself in my free time. I’m enthusiastic to bring my experience to the team at KidsTime. I’m looking forward to building relationships and memories with all the new children, their families and our staff at KidsTime!

Hey! My name is Esmeralda Velazquez. I just graduated from Evan Hardy Collegiate and I’m grateful to be at KidsTime—I’ve loved being part of the team! I’ve enjoyed my time with the kids, having interesting conversations and interacting with them each day. I am certified in First Aid and CPR and have some experience working with children through babysitting for family and family friends. Some facts about me: I was born in South Carolina, USA, and both of my parents are from Mexico, so I speak both English and Spanish. In my free time, I enjoy playing sports, going to the gym, taking my dog to the park and going on outdoor adventures. I also love spending time at home working on crafts, projects or reading a good book. Being part of KidsTime has been such a rewarding experience, and I’m looking forward to continuing to learn, grow, and create more great memories with the kids and the team!

Hi! My name is Valeria Morales. I am a high school student currently in grade 12. I am just starting at KidsTime but I am super excited! I have wanted to work with children for quite some time because I really like psychology and I am really interested in child psychology. With this opportunity of working with children I hope to get a clearer picture of my future and what I enjoy doing. In addition I have my First Aid & CPR courses. I have had some experience working with elders at Sherbrooke community center, where I was able to volunteer and come up with some fun activities that could include everyone wanting to participate. Some facts about me are that I was born in Mexico and so I speak English and Spanish, I also enjoy learning French. During my free time I enjoy hanging out with my friends and listening to music. I am hoping to go to the UofS after high school. I am really exited to be working with KidsTime!

Hello everyone! My name is Daniela and I am very excited for my third year here at KidsTime. I am originally from Chile, where I was trained as an Occupational Therapist. I was lucky enough to get to work with children as part of my studies. I moved to Canada about 7 years ago. I am a mother of a 8 year old who attends grade 3 at CBS. I will be having a baby in November and will be on maternity leave for the second half of the 2023/2024 school year. During my free time I love hanging out with my family, reading books, crafting and knitting. I am looking forward to having fun building relationships with students, staff and families.

Hi everyone! My name is Jade, and I’m so excited for another year at Kids Time! I am currently in my third year of education at the U of S, in hopes to become a middle years teacher. Outside of work I love to spend time outside, playing sports, and hanging out with my family and friends. I am looking forward to another great school year with the staff and students at Kids Time!

Hello! My name is Haley Medernach, I am 18 years old, and I’m excited to join the KidsTime team! I am currently enrolled at the University of Regina working towards getting my bachelor’s degree in Social Work. I enjoy playing and watching sports such as baseball, street dance, and hockey. I also enjoy reading, listening to music and spending time with my family and friends. I am looking forward to building relationships with the kids and their families, as well as creating many memories.

Hello, my name is Abby Howie. I’m just starting at KidsTime but I already love it so much. I love building relationships with all the kids and watching them interact with each other. I am currently in my Senior year at Evan Hardy Collegiate. After high school I plan to take a gap year to work full time and then attend University to study psychology. I’m hoping to study child development and pursue this so that I can work in schools or be a child psychologist wherever I can (ie, foster homes, etc). In my spare time I enjoy spending time with friends and family, cooking/baking, and listening to or playing music. I play 3 instruments including piano, flute, and trombone, however, I definitely enjoy piano the most as I have been playing for 11 years now! I cannot wait to continue to learn about the kids and their families and look forward to my future here at Kidstime!

Hey! My name is Isabella Dayday, however I like to go by the nickname Belle. I graduated with the class of 2023 from Evan Hardy Collegiate. My passion is youth psychological development, I love kids and have always worked well with younger family members and I have been nannying for many people over the years! I am quite experienced with children. I am genuinely engaged with children and always love to help. I like to understand what their neurological needs are, and listen to their ideas, that we sadly grow out of! I found that this is the perfect job for me as I am taking a gap year to save up for a secondary education in whatever that may be!

Hi everyone! My name is Cora, and I am very excited to join KidsTime! I am currently in my third year of Psychology at the University of Saskatchewan, in hopes to become a Police Officer in the future! I enjoy playing and watching sports such as soccer and slow pitch. I am really looking forward to creating memories with the students, staff and parents at KidsTime!

Hello! My name is Hafsa Asim and I am a second-year university student at the University of Saskatchewan. I have worked with children since I was in high school, whether that be for babysitting or chaperoning for elementary school field trips. In my spare time, I enjoy watching movies and reading. I believe every child has the right to an opportunity to learn and grow, and this mindset has contributed to my joy in working with children. My goals align perfectly with those of KidsTime, and I am super excited to be joining the team!

Hi everyone! My name is Jordyn. I am a student at the U of S, currently finishing my undergraduate studies in biology with future plans to pursue speech language pathology! While I’m brand new to the KidsTime team, I have always worked with children and have loved every minute of it. When I’m not studying or working, I enjoy spending time with friends and family, trying out new recipes, and travelling! I look forward to building relationships and making positive memories with all the kids this year!

Hello! My name is Makenna Pilbeam, and I am 18 years old, and I am excited to be a part of the Kidstime family! I grew up in Saskatoon and I graduated from Aden Bowman. Hey! My name is Bushra Mehmood and I’m so excited to be joining Kidstime this year. I am a 3rd year Psychology student at the University of Saskatchewan. Over the summer I worked at a leadership program run by the city, where I learned how to organize kid-friendly events. I am eager to apply this experience to the daycare and provide a fun atmosphere for the children. Outside of work and school I enjoy painting and playing volleyball.

Hi! My name is Purity. I’m currently a senior in Holy Cross high school and I’ve always loved the idea of working with kids. I’m super excited to work with everyone at Kids Time. I am the oldest of three sisters and I had to babysit them a lot growing up. I love volunteering. I have volunteered a with kids, in youth ministry and adults with intellectual disabilities, though only briefly with L’Arche. I’ve always been a bit of a math geek and I’m excited to join the university of Saskatchewan this year to pursue a Bachelor of Science degree. I also have a passion for the arts especially visual arts, and I love trying new things. I look forward to working with everybody and making amazing memories.

Hi everyone! My name is Kamryn Stegemann and this is my second year working at KidsTime. I am currently in my second year of kinesiology at the University of Saskatchewan. I love being around kids and hope to one day be a pediatric occupational therapist. In my free time I like to play volleyball and spend time with my friends. I am looking forward to making more memories and having fun with all the children!

I enjoy creating a fun, safe, and supportive environment where all children can feel comfortable being themselves while learning and growing. Hey everyone! My name is Blake Bratton and this is my second year working at KidsTime.  I am currently in my second year of Business at the University of Saskatchewan.  I am the oldest of four children and I have spent many hours babysitting them growing up.  In my spare time I play hockey and baseball.  I have played in the Western Hockey League and the Saskatchewan Junior league during my hockey adventures. I am now pursuing university hockey for the future, where I plan on potentially pursuing my teaching degree! I am looking forward to having fun and making memories with the children!

Just from my few training shifts this past school year I can already say I am looking forward to getting to know everyone better. Hi! My name is Nauroon Ahmed, and this is my first year working with KidsTime Child Care. I am currently in my senior year of high school and plan to pursue health studies or biomedical sciences at university. In my free time I enjoy reading, collecting books and painting. I am very excited to begin this journey and look forward to the opportunity to work with the children and families at KidsTime Child Care.

Hello, my name is Samin. I am a student at the University of Saskatchewan. I am currently studying kinesiology, and I have future aspirations in the field of medicine. I have a hobby of collecting sneakers and a great passion for sports, particularly basketball. This is my first year working at KidsTime, and I am very happy to have the opportunity to give my support and help the development of the kids at KidsTime.

Hello everyone! My name is Treasure Ochang, and this would be my first official year working at Kids Time. I am currently a high school senior, and plan on continuing towards post secondary education ¬¬¬¬—studying social work as an undergraduate for my Law degree. I love using my time to help others through different volunteering opportunities thrown at me. I really enjoy working with kids and have served in the Kids Ministry at my Church, Elim, for almost a year now. I hope to see smiles on the kids’ faces and make unforgettable memories with them.

Hi everyone! My name is Emily Lieslar, I am currently attending Evan Hardy Collegiate and I love working with kids. This is my second year working with Kidstime, I started out as a junior staff. I plan on perusing a future career in children’s psychological development. I enjoy spending my time playing volleyball and softball, as well as reading and painting. Hello, My name is Aadil and this is my first year working with kidstime. I’m a second year student at the UofS studying kinesiology with the goal of one day becoming an anesthesiologist. Hello! My name is Hania Sarfraz, and I have a strong passion for working with children and helping them learn, grow, and thrive in a fun and supportive environment. I’ve gained hands-on experience through babysitting and volunteering in settings that focus on children’s well-being and development. I truly enjoy getting to know each child’s unique personality and creating positive connections with both kids and their families. I’m currently continuing my education and building my skills in child care. I have my First Aid & CPR certification and am always looking for new ways to grow professionally and personally.

I am a 3rd year university student at the University of Saskatchewan with the intention of getting my degree in pharmacy. Collegiate. I was born in Pakistan and have now lived in Canada for ten years and love being
part of such a diverse community with so many different opportunities. I’m excited to be part of

Hi everyone! My name is Janae Budd, and I’m excited to join the KidsTime family! I grew up in Saskatoon, where I have done a lot of volunteering for our city, and have worked around a lot of children. Ever since I was little, I have loved all things that have to do with the outdoors, family or sports. A few of my favorites include hockey, flag football, skiing/snowboarding and family or friend game nights. I enjoy working with children because after long days at school they help brighten your day with their bright personalities. Hi! I’m Koralee Page. I am currently in my third year of social work at the University of Regina and am working toward my bachelor’s degree in Social Work. I have been working with KidsTime for a little over a year, and I am thrilled to be able to work there! Outside of work, I love spending time outdoors playing basketball, but when I am inside, I love to cozy up to draw and paint. I also love spending time with my friends and family.
